The adaptable, efficient and warm Ascent Ac3 from Sea to Summit is the down sleeping bag that will keep you comfortable on most of your expeditions.

The Ac3 has a -11°C comfort rating and -18° lower limit so its suited for use in colder conditions. This bag features a tapered rectangular shape making it roomier than a mummy bag, while still providing thermal efficiency. You can easily adjust the Ascent according to the weather thanks to the free-flow triple zips. The half zip on the right side means you can fold it down to free up your arms, the full-length zip and separate foot zip allows you to use it as a quilt when it’s hot, and you can close it all up on a cooler night.

Insulation is provided by the R.D.S certified 750+ loft down, while the vertical baffles over the chest help prevent cold spots forming. For maximum insulation, there’s a side block baffle to keep the 60/40 fill ratio and the oversized draft tubes trap your body heat. The shell and lining of this bag are made from lightweight nylon to keep the weight down, while the large internal security pocket allows you to keep valuables safe and sound as you snooze.
